Former Manchester United and Leeds United striker Alan Smith is eyeing a MLS move to new expansion club Orlando City.
The 33-year-old, currently at League One side MK Dons, knows that his playing days are limited, and has started only four games for Karl Robinson's side this season.
"It's a big decision and I'll probably stay on and become a coach straight away rather than take a year out.
"David Beckham's side would be too late for me because that would be 2017, but I've got a gym with my best friend in Orlando and they've just got confirmation yesterday that in 2015 they're going into the MLS.
"So I have contacts out there and that's a possibility so you've just got to have as many options as you can really.
"I don't know how much longer I can play on for, I'm as fit as I've ever been as in terms of my physicality, it just takes longer to recover now, like an extra day."
