Former Manchester United striker Gary Birtles says Jack Grealish needs mentoring at Aston Villa.

Grealish has been banished to the U21s this week.

Writing in his column for the Nottingham Post, Birtles stated: "He's a talented boy, but at 20 it seems that's just what he is, a boy.

"He's training with the development squad as punishment and if he's not careful he'll find his career falling apart.

"What he needs is a team-mate pinning him up against the dressing wall and making it clear acting out like this is not on."
