Former Manchester United defender Henning Berg has questioned the quality of the current squad.
Berg feels United are thinner than in the past.
He told the talkSPORT: "The squad is not looking too good, even when you at the team from yesterday, they have some players out and you see the extra players that come in, they're not playing at the very, very best level. This is a little bit worrying.
"I think both squad and manager though have the knowledge, confidence and experience from handling these types of situations. United tend to step up another level at this time of year and against Manchester City it looked good, they scored some fantastic goals.
"They started to look like they were going on to hit top form, but against Crawley and Marseille they didn't look the same. We'll see, Man United have the experience though, so you can't back against them."
