Former Manchester United academy coach Paul McGuinness has likened debutant Angel Gomes to Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta.
Gomes became the first player born in this millennium to play in the Premier League when he came off the bench in United's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace yesterday.
"He's an absolute real talent," McGuinness told Sky Sports.
"If he was Brazilian they would be raving about him and if he was six inches taller they would be going mad.
"That's probably our country, people doubt players if they're short in stature. Nobody is doubting Iniesta or Silva or these sort of players.
"He's a player of that type, the potential to be that type of player. In England you just don't get many players like that.
"He's also the type that when you put him with better players, he's going to get better himself and create chances for them.
"He is a real talent, you don't want to build him up too soon.
"I'm sure they will handle that all at Manchester United."
