Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is currrently working at former club AZ Alkmaar.

Van Gaal has a job offer from J-League outfit Vissel Kobe, though is presently working with AZ on behalf of the KNVB.

The Dutchman is running his eye over AZ's youth system as part of process introduced by Dutch FA authorities.

"The KNVB facilitates that. We asked if Louis van Gaal would like to do that, and he wanted to.

"We are, of course, very pleased with that," said AZ chief Paul Brandenberg.
