Former Manchester United boss David Moyes is being investigated by police after a scuffle in a Lancashire wine bar, the BBC understands. Officers were called to the Emporium bar in Clitheroe on Wednesday evening following reports that a 23-year-old man had been assaulted.
Lancashire Police said the man had not needed hospital treatment.
They also said there were "a number of different accounts" about what had happened but no-one had been arrested and enquires where continuing.
