Former Manchester City striker Bernardo Corradi is delighted with his move to Reggina.

"I thank my new teammates, who gave me a very warm welcome," said the 31-year-old who had also been linked to Torino.

"I was the one who chose Reggina and I did so because the President made me feel wanted. This is an extra sense of responsibility I thrive on.

"The affection of the fans always acts as extra motivation. I am a centre-forward and I live to score goals, but my real job is helping out the whole team."
