Former Manchester City and Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri is in talks over a move to Italy

Nasri signed with former City teammate Vincent Kompany's Anderlecht last season and has been allowed to come off contract.

The former France international is eager to play on this term and has fielded interest from Serie A new boys Benevento.

Pippo Inzaghi guided Benevento to promotion last season and is eager to add experience to his squad for the top-flight campaign.

For his part, Nasri is open to the challenge of a first experience in Italy, reports Tuttosport.
