Former Manchester City and Norwich City defender Javi Garrido has announced his retirement.
At 35, Garrido has decided to hang up his boots, having been playing this season for Real Union.
The former Real Sociedad ace posted online: "This sport that has given me so much.
"A lot of sacrifice on my part and my family, a fundamental part. A thank-you to all the people who have been close throughout my entire sports career, to you also dear ball.
"It remains a shame that I couldn't say goodbye on the pitch. To all the teams I've been part of, thank-you also."
