Former Manchester City and Argentina defender Martin Demichelis has revealed no coach ever raises his voice at Barcelona.
That's according to Leo Messi, who explained as much to Demichelis during their time together with Argentina.
Demichelis recalled to La Nacion an anecdote from Messi during Tata Martino's time in charge in 2013.
"Leo comes from a club where the shouting is not part of their philosophy, in Barcelona the coach speaks during the week and they go out to play without having to receive those screams that we receive," he said.
"When (Elvio) Paolorroso, Martino's fitness trainer, shouted a couple of times shortly after arriving in Barcelona, Piqué said to him: 'Sorry, Profe, but this does not work here'.
"Leo never tried shouting, 'Come on, guys'. He doesn't do it."
