Former Liverpool striker Adam Morgan has revealed he's been the victim of a Champions League final ticket scam.
Morgan was among those who attempted to acquire a ticket and revealed he had already made arrangements to attend the game before being let down at the last minute.
"When there are people like this in the world what chance you got ay!" Morgan wrote in a tweet that was later deleted.
"I booked flights to go a pick ticket up from Belfast this morning as I am boarding plane I get a text saying he now can not meet me.
"Flights an[d] hotel booked for Madrid thought I had a ticket sorted devastated..."
When asked about the incident, Morgan told concerned readers that he luckily received the news before boarding the plane to Belfast.
Morgan was a product of the Reds youth system and made three first-team appearances for the club before leaving in 2014.
