Gerard Houllier will remain in his role as Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull despite recent board moves.
The MLS chapter of Red Bull Soccer, New York Red Bull, replaced general manager Erik Soler with Jerome de Bontin but Houllier's role will stay the same as he continues to oversee the entire global product.
The former Liverpool, Lyon and Aston Villa manager was appointed in June and currently presides over NYRB, Austrian club FC Red Bull Salzburg, Germany outfit RB Leipzig and the Red Bull Brasil and Red Bull Ghana academies.
