Former Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson believes Xherdan Shaqiri has clashed with manager Jurgen Klopp.
The winger has been out of favour recently with his last appearance coming on February 24 and his last start was back in January.
Former England international Johnson played with Shaqiri at Stoke City and has shared what he makes of the Swiss playmaker's recent absences when speaking on BBC Radio 5Live Football Daily Podcast.
"When things were going well, he'd be a big player for us and he'd perform. When things weren't going well, he'd be hit and miss. That was obvious to see.
"Most likely. Jurgen won't deal with it – he'll put it to bed," he said.
