Damien Comolli is being linked with the sporting and technical director role at West Bromwich Albion as the club steps up the search to replace Dan Ashworth.
Ashworth will move into a comparable role with the Football Association next summer and the Baggies are keen to bring in a successful football person to fill the void.
Albion chairman Jeremy Peace is keen to sort the position sooner than later and has already interviewed Brentford's Mark Warburton according to Sky Sports whilst Hamburg sporting director Lee Congleton and Ashworth's former assistant Andy Marriott, currently with Formula 1's Mercedes, are also on the list along with former Tottenham and Liverpool director Comolli.
