El-Hadji Diouf has agreed a new deal with Championship club Doncaster Rovers.
The 30-year old former Liverpool, Bolton, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers striker arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium on an initial three-month deal in November but has now extended that by signing a one-and-a-half-year contract.
"We have a good team. We laugh on and off the pitch. We are doing well. Why not stay?""Yesterday, I talked with the club and I agreed to sign a new deal for one-and-a-half years. Why not? I am happy here," he told Sky Sports News.
Diouf has scored two goals in four outings for Dean Saunders' side who sit second bottom on the tier two table.
