Ex-Leicester boss Ranieri keen on Celtic job

Claudio Ranieri is being lined up to become the new manager of Celtic.

The Italian is currently caretaker manager of Roma.

However, he will quit his hometown club in the summer.

The Bhoys have yet to appoint caretaker Neil Lennon as permanent manager.

And an Italian source said on Calciomercatoweb: "According to the latest revelations, Claudio Ranieri's name has ended up on Celtic's shortlist in case they don't extend Neil Lennon's contract.

"Ranieri will leave Roma at the end of the season. He said so himself before their last game against Juventus.

"He arrived in Rome following Eusebio Di Francesco's dismissal. But he could soon find himself on the market once more."
