Former Leeds United chairman Peter Ridsdale has been helping Everton find a buyer.
The Daily Mail says Ridsdale, working with administrators at potless Plymouth after his turbulent time running Leeds, Barnsley and Cardiff, had a meeting last week with Everton owner Bill Kenwright.
But Ridsdale was not looking for the opportunity to take charge at yet another club, merely introducing legal representatives of a possible buyer to Kenwright - though the talks did not progress.
