Ex-Juventus president Cobolli Gigli slams Paratici and 'poison spitting' Sarri

Former Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has slammed the current regime.

Cobolli Gigli says Juve are leading the Serie A down to good fortune over the summer and the failings of sports director Fabio Paratici.

He explained on TMW: "If Juventus does what it does, it is because it has two players, in addition to (Cristiano) Ronaldo, who do great things.

"The first is (Paulo) Dybala and the second is (Gonzalo) Higuain. These two players are at Juve because Paratici, while doing everything to sell them, has failed."

Cobolli Gigli also remains opposed to the appointment of coach Maurizio Sarri this season given his past criticism of Juve.

"Then there is that Sarri," said Cobolli Gigli, "and I must say I don't understand him: he spits poison on Juve and now he trains her."
