Former Juventus transfer guru Luciano Moggi believes Roma should keep pushing for Inter Milan winger Matteo Politano.

A swap involving Leandro Spinazzola fell through last week over medical concerns. But Moggi says Politano would hand the Giallorosso a big boost.

He told TMW Radio: "There was confusion in the negotiation, perhaps there was no identity of views among the various managers.

"It may be that Roma broke the news even before signing the contracts. If it did, it was wrong.

"If the deal were done anyway, Roma will win. Politano could integrate well. Spinazzola? We have to see his physical conditions, he would be convenient for Inter.

"But now it has taken (Ashley) Young, (Victor) Moses, (possibly Olivier) Giroud, so taking another would create even more confusion."
