Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti concedes Frank de Boer is fighting for his job.

De Boer's position is being discussed after defeat to Atalanta.

“It's definitely a bit of a complicated situation, but it's certainly not one for me to untangle," Moratti told Rai.

“Whether the Coach is in trouble or not, whatever happens he has to express himself with the team.

“Where previously it could be said that he hasn't had time to achieve certain results, yesterday there was definitely a negative first half in which he didn't set us up to win.

“The situation is difficult, but I'm still only speaking as a fan, nothing more."
