Former Newcastle United and Inter Milan defender Alessandro Pistone is delighted with the progress of Yuto Nagatomo.

The Japan international has been outstanding for Inter since his arrival from Cesena last season.

"No, I was not surprised by Nagatomo, in the beginning I was one to say he's a great player," Pistone told TMW.

"I think he's an Inter class player, although I did not expect him to score two goals in a row."
