Former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini would love to take the Italy job.
Mancini says he's ready to return to coaching and would welcome the chance to succeed Marcello Lippi.
Mancini said: "If I were in charge then I would call Antonio Cassano. He is a phenomenon and only does his 'cassanate' because he is world class, but evidently Marcello Lippi doesn't call him because he doesn't like him as a player.
"I also think Mario Balotelli would be useful for the Nazionale. He's not a bad lad and I hope he'll become like Zlatan Ibrahimovic."
