Ex-Hearts boss Laszlo, former Liverpool no.2 keen on Kilmarnock job

Former Heart of Midlothian manager Csaba Laszlo is open to any offers that may come for the Kilmarnock job.

The 49-year old Romanian tactician, who is the current manager of the Lithuania national team, says he would like to fill the role at Rugby Park vacated by the recent sacking of Kenny Shiels.

"If someone in Scotland wants to have my services I would be happy about that," said Laszlo.

"My family still live in Edinburgh because my daughter is at university and my son is at school there. So I would like to come back but I have not spoken to anyone or applied for the Kilmarnock job.

"I have a contract here and any interested club must speak to the Lithuanian Federation.

"However, I don't think that they would block me if there was a better opportunity."

It is also believed that former Liverpool, Benfica and Valencia assistant Pako Ayestaran is showing interest in the Killie job.
