Ex-Fulham, Wigan star Bullard wants permanent Ipswich move

Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard admits he would love to extend his loan stay at Ipswich Town to a permanent move.

The injury-prone former Fulham and Wigan Athletic man is on loan at Portman Road from the Tigers and has enjoyed a good spell so far, scoring five goals in 15 Championship appearances since his January move.

The 32-year old insists he is loving his time as a Tractor Boy and can see himself remaining at the club on a permanent basis if it can be arranged.

"I've really enjoyed it here," he told the club's official website. "As I've said before, as soon as I walked into the dressing room I knew it was the right decision.

"You are never sure about things when you join a new club but it felt right. I have never been on loan before, even at 32, but coming here has been the best thing I have done in my whole career.

"I have scored some goals, helped win a few games, made some new mates and played for a great football club - and this is a great football club.

"The fans have been brilliant to me as well. I'm not sure where I'll be next year but, put it this way though, I wouldn't be disappointed if it was here."
