Ex-Forest keeper Samba hails Henderson after flipping off Liverpool fans

Former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba has hailed Dean Henderson for winding up Liverpool fans after yesterday's 1-0 win.

Henderson played an important role in Forest's first win since August as they inflicted a surprise defeat on Jurgen Klopp's side. The on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper had to be at his very best throughout and produced one of the saves of the season to deny Virgil van Dijk in second half injury time.

Having kept Mohamed Salah and co. at bay, Henderson celebrated wildly at the full time whistle. Those celebrations included what looked like a cheeky dig at the travelling Liverpool fans in the form of a middle finger; a gesture picked up by the BT Sport cameras.

Although he left the club to join Lens in the summer, Samba was still at the club when Henderson joined from Old Trafford. And it appears the pair struck up a bond judging by Samba's appraisal of Henderson's supposed middle finger.

He wrote: "Hooo my guy Dean is a VIP member of the s***house gotta love this."
