Former Everton winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov has questioned whether Arsen Zakharyan is ready to move to England.
Chelsea are set to pay the buyout clause of the Dynamo Moscow winger, with his agent confirming the move on Thursday.
Bilyaletdinov told Metaratings: “If Arsen goes to Chelsea, then everything can work out. We can observe this on the example of (Oleks) Zinchenko. Although it is clear that it is too early for Zakharyan to go to England.
"Arsen has no athleticism, it will be difficult to immediately join the team. From my own experience I can say that you definitely need to know English to play there.
"And you need to pump up, for the rest he has everything. In Russia, he will not gain physics, but everything will be there. I myself, when I moved to Everton, after a month immediately gained three kilograms of muscle.
"If Arsen leaves for Chelsea, then he will immediately go on loan first."
