Former Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi admits they were keen on Napoli pair Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Kim Min-jae.

The pair both arrived in Italy over the summer as part of an outstanding summer of recruitment in Naples that also saw Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa signed from Fulham.

“Napoli's scouts were good at bringing Kim and Kvaratskhelia to Napoli at those prices," Jacomuzzi told Radio Crc.

“Kim, when I was at Everton four years ago, we wanted to get him, then some problems happened in the transfer and Kvaratshkelia was also evaluated.

"The big deal then, Napoli made it on the figures."
