Former Everton director of football Marcel Brands has returned to PSV Eindhoven.

Brands left Everton in December, but hasn't waited long to be back in football.

He will become PSV's general manager, starting in the summer and returning to the club where he was director of football for eight years.

“I've obviously been reflecting a lot on my future in the world of football," Brands said.

"There is only one club in the Netherlands where I would like to work and that club is PSV."
