Former Everton and Blackburn Rovers striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni is set to make his debut for Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Fuli this weekend.
The 29-year old Nigerian finalised his move to China this week and admits he could shape up for his new club in the Guangzhou derby against Evergrande on Sunday.
"My physical condition is not the best. But it is okay to play," Yakubu told reporters.
"I really hope to play in the derby game against Guangzhou Evergrande. Anyway it is all about the decision of our coach."
