Ex-Dinamo Zagreb, Malaga forward Morales happy with Vancouver Whitecaps role

Pedro Morales insists he is enjoying his leading role at new club Vancouver Whitecaps.

The 29-year old Chilean forward has scored three goals and provided three assists in 10 MLS appearances since arriving in British Columbia from Spanish side Malaga at the beginning of the 2014 season.

Morales says he feels comfortable in Vancouver and is loving his time as an integral part of Carl Robinson's Whitecaps setup.

"I'm a very technical player with what I consider very good vision," Morales told MLSsoccer.com.

"I like to get forward and score goals.

"I feel comfortable. I hope the league keeps growing as it is. There's lot of good players, and it's very competitive."

Of the former Dinamo Zagreb man, Whitecaps assistant Martyn Pert: "He brings a good spirit to the group.

"He's humble. Having a DP that's humble is important. He really feels part of the dressing room and really acts part of the dressing room."
