Portland Timbers winger Franck Songo'o is looking to start afresh with Houston Dynamo as his MLS career hangs in the balance.
The 25-year old Cameroonian is on trial with the MLS runners-up after being told his opportunities at Portland would be limited and is determined to make his home at a successful club that is eager to have him on board.
"I just want to give my all and play with passion and be on a winning team and have a winning attitude and really fit into the group," Songo'o told MLSsoccer.com.
"It was my first day back at work after three months so physically I'm not there yet. It felt nice to get in with the guys. I want to get into what the team wants, win the conference, get to the playoffs and win the MLS Cup and have a good season."
Songo'o is still contracted to the Timbers, who own his rights, but new head coach Caleb Porter has suggested there will be no place for him at JELD-WEN Field.
