Ex-Crystal Palace chairman Jordan slams Henderson for Man Utd blast

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has slammed Dean Henderson for hitting out at parent club Manchester United.

Jordan fumed on talkSPORT after hearing Henderson's gripe with United upon joining Nottingham Forest on loan.

He raged: "At the end of the day, you are only as good as your performances, and you have a right to express your disappointment.

“But where he has gone over the line… to pee on people's parade and turn it into a situation where everybody is supposed to feel sorry for Henderson because he wasn't able to displace De Gea.

“He, not anybody else, was not able to displace De Gea. Basically, what he is saying is that if he went in goal and stunk the place out, because he was told at the beginning of the season he was guaranteed No.1, he should've been ad infinitum ad nauseam.

“Oh grow up you child! You are at a fabulous football club, being paid a fabulous amount of money.

“It is disappointing he didn't get any games last year, but get on with it, grow some backbone and don't do a ridiculous interview seeming to illicit sympathy from anybody."
