Former Chelsea fullback Dan Petrescu retains hope of managing in the Premier League.
The London Evening Standard says Palace did offer him the job at the time, only for Dinamo Moscow to block the move by demanding a vast sum in compensation.
Palace went on to appoint Tony Pulis instead but Petrescu, who played for Chelsea between 1995-2000, winning three major trophies, is still hoping to get a job in England, particularly in the capital where he enjoyed playing.
