Ex-Chelsea assistant coach Hamberg: It was 5 years work in 7 months

Bjorn Hamberg says he expects to follow Graham Potter to his next club.

The Swede has been Potter's assistant manager since Ostersunds, following him to Swansea City, Brighton and Chelsea.

"A lot has happened. It has been a difference from having been in Östersund for a long time. When everything ended with Chelsea, I have had time to reflect and develop myself, but it is clear that you want to work again," Hamberg told Östersunds-Posten.

"There is nothing going on. The football world works in such a way that one day there will be a club without a coach and then they will possibly contact Graham as well and you take it from there. I guess that's where we are. The way the football season looks, it's probably not right here and now, but maybe a little further on."

On Chelsea, he added: "There were many things in a short time that happened in and around the club. We came in mid-season, built relationships and got to know the players. At the same time as we fought in the Premier League and the Champions League. It felt like it was five years in seven months almost."
