Ashley Cole has hit out at critics who felt he would move to the USA for a big-money transfer.
The former England international recently completed a two-year move to AS Roma after ending his time with Chelsea after being heavily linked with North America's MLS.
Many suggested Cole would head to the US on a massive wage but he has opted to make the move to the Serie A which he believes shows that he is not motivated by money.
Cole posted the following on Twitter:
