Former West Ham and Bournemouth midfielder Junior Stanislas has announced his retirement.
Stanislas announced on Wednesday that he is hanging up his boots.
The decision comes after he left Bournemouth this summer. Injuries have been a factor in the decision.
He told talkSPORT: "I've had a few injuries over the last few years and it's had an impact.
"Now I am facing a new chapter, and I am looking forward to it."
Stanislas reached 144 matches in the Premier League, where it also resulted in 25 goals. He played for West Ham, Southend United, Burnley and Bournemouth. He spent nine years with the latter.
