Hibernian are still a chance to sign Lubo Michalik after leaving Carlisle United at the end of last season.
The 28-year old Slovakian defender is now a free agent and has interest from the likes of Preston North End, Polish outfit Slask Wroclaw and Hibs.
It was apparent that Michalik, who has previously played with Bolton and Leeds United, was set to move to Poland but he has made it clear that he is yet to make a decision on his future.
"In football things are not even certain when you have the pen in your hand. It can change with one phone call. Maybe I take a risk as well.
"You never know what the future brings. I've been in England over five years and I will be happy to stay here but I will consider different countries as well.""Right now I am not signing anywhere. I am just waiting for the right decision," he said.
