Former Barcelona presidential candidate Lluis Bassat is critical of their move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
The Pole is a target for Barca president Joan Laporta, who is pushing to prise the veteran away from Bayern this summer.
But Bassat insists Barca's money should be spent elsewhere. Indeed, he also questioned why Laporta is so directly involved in negotiations.
“Ten years ago, yes; but now I wouldn't sign him. He is going to be 34 years old this year," said Bassat.
