Mesut Ozil, the former Arsenal playmaker, was furious at being substituted for Fenerbahce in the Europa League against Royal Antwerp.
Ozil had to come off in the second-half of the 2-2 group stage draw, but he was not best pleased.
The German World Cup winner reacted angrily on the bench, kicking a set of water bottles and throwing his shirt off as he left the field.
Manager Vitor Pereira was calm about Ozil's actions post-game.
"We needed more intensity and some fresh blood," he said, per Goal.com.
"Mesut did well today, he can do well on the ball but today we had difficulty in keeping possession.
"For sure I cannot know what would happen if we did not bring him off."
