Former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Freddie Ljungberg is on his way to MLS. Ljungberg is ready for a shock return with US side Seattle Sounders.
The ex-Arsenal and West Ham star will join the Sounders when they kick off their debut season in MLS in March.
Ljungberg, 31, was axed by the Hammers in the summer when they paid up his contract in a bid to cut wages.
Seattle are expected to unveil Ljungberg as their star overseas signing tomorrow.
President Gary Wright is a big fan of the Swede and after Ljungberg visited the Sounders, he said: "Freddie's a fantastic player who has a lot more to offer."
