Robin van Persie was stretchered off with what could be a very serious eye injury, according to reports in Turkey.
The Dutch striker was involved in a massive clash of heads with a Akhisar Belediyespor defender during Fenerbahce's 3-1 win in the SuperLig on Sunday.
Some reports suggested that there were fears over van Persie's eyesight but Football Oranje has reported that the former Arsenal and Manchester United striker simply has a torn eyelid and will be absolutely fine.
