Former Arsenal head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is already in talks about a return to Germany.

Mislintat chose to leave the Gunners earlier this month after barely a year at the club after joining from Borussia Dortmund.

He is now in talks with Schalke, says Funke Sport.

S04 management have made contact with Mislintat and negotiations are continuing.

Also in the frame for the post is Thomas Linke, who currently serves as advisor to FC Ingolstadt.
