Ex-Arsenal, Celtic ace Hartson expects Bale, Matthews, Ledley to be fit for Wales

Wales assistant coach John Hartson is tipping the likes of Gareth Bale, Adam Matthews and Joe Ledley all to be fit for this weekend's World Cup qualifier.

The Dragons host Scotland in Cardiff on Friday night and ex-Arsenal and Celtic striker Hartson, who takes care of the Welsh forwards for manager Chris Coleman, says the aforementioned trio will be fit for the vital fixture despite having recent injury worries.

"Gareth has a problem with his heel. It's something he has been carrying for a while, so it's just a case of nursing him and we hope he will take part in training tomorrow," said Hartson.

"He is a special player for us and we feel he will be OK for Friday - the same goes for Adam Matthews and Ledley who trained today."
