Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been named new coach of Serie B Como.
Cesc takes charge after the sacking of Massimo Longo.
The former Spain midfielder hung up the boots after playing last season with Como and has been working on the club's coaching staff.
He is now taking the senior post on a caretaker basis.
"We hope to hire someone for the coaching role in the near future. We thank the fans for their understanding and unwavering loyalty and support," said club chief Mirwan Suwarso.
Como is currently in sixth place in Serie B.
