Everton striker Victor Anichebe has rejected England to commit to Nigeria.
Anichebe was born in Lagos but raised on Merseyside.
Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce's personal plea fell on deaf ears as Anichebe, 19, admitted: "I don't really want to play for England."
