Everton youngster Lewis Warrington: Fleetwood good for me

Everton youngster Lewis Warrington is loving life at Fleetwood Town on loan.

The Academy graduate signed a two year contract with the club in the summer, having impressed on loan at Tranmere Rovers.

He then went out to Fleetwood on loan, with the 20-year-old believing he is gaining the right experiences to continue his progress.

Per the Liverpool Echo, he said: “I have enjoyed every minute of it and I feel I have fitted in well to the group and the lads, and I think I am doing well and happy with how it's going thus far.

“I have learnt a lot of new things with learning a new style of play and it's a step up from my last loan move. It has been great for my development, but I know I have to keep working hard and carry-on making appearances for the club.

“The gaffer [Scott Brown] wants us to play through the midfield and I feel my role is to build up that play and that's my game. I like to get on the ball as much as I can, make passes.

“We play through me a lot and to have Josh Vela and others, it has been good to learn as we all complement each other. The last five, six months have gone really quick; but I am just loving every moment of it."
