Everton are among the leaders in the race for Olympique Marseille fullback Bouna Sarr.

The experienced defender is up for sale at cash-strapped OM ahead of the summer market.

L'Equipe says a raft of European clubs are chasing Sarr's signature, with Everton and Atletico Madrid leading the race.

Also keen are Sevilla, West Ham and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Sarr said last week: "I will not go into details, but we see that the club needs money, it is a little in financial difficulty."
