Everton have added 11 new players to their academy system.

Some players, including Jack Rodwell, have already turned out for the Academy side as well as the reserves.

Rodwell, James McCarten, Luke Powell, Michael Stewart, Tom McCready, Moses Barnett, Karl Sheppard, George Krenn, Hope Akpan, Danny Redmond and Louis Codling are the latest batch of youngsters and will be training full time at Finch Farm this season.

Academy Director Ray Hall told evertonTV: "Their lives as full time players starts at 8.15 on Monday morning.

"We have actually got more than we usually take on because of the quality. We are taking 11 boys on and we feel we have got as good a group coming into us as we have had for many years."
