Leeds United fullback Sam Byrne is a top target for Everton boss David Moyes.

Moyes made a personal check on the young defender last week and knows he is fighting several clubs, including Mersey rivals Liverpool, for the kid's signature, says the People.

Moyes is looking for a new full-back with Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville sharing duties and Seamus Coleman better suited to attacking.
