Everton star Tim Cahill expects the tackles to be flying in against Liverpool tomorrow.
Everyone can remember Jamie Carragher's thumping challenge on Everton ace Steven Pienaar at Anfield last season.
Cahill, himself sent off in this fixture two years ago, said: "I expect to be hit early. I expect to be roughed up.
"You expect Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard to go in hard in the first three minutes. But I always have a smirk whether one of them goes in hard on us or vice versa.
"It's whoever can set the tone and put their stamp on it which will have a big effect on the game."
